The Audi Q7 was Audi's late entry in the full-size luxury SUV category starting in 2006 - but well worth the wait. The engine is produced in Zuffenhausen, Germany, while coachwork and assembly takes place in Audi's facility located in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Q designation (considered a reference to quattro) opened a new line for Audi; while, numerically the 7 positions the vehicle between the Audi A6 and Audi A8 at the top of Audi's lineup.
